The Biltmore had a full farm, dairy etc.  They had some of the best Dairy products, agricultural products etc. in it's time.  Vanderbilt hired the best scientist and experts in every discipline and had the best of the best.  The Vanderbilts  started schools to teach others agriculture and and advised the US Government.  Most of the Farm implements you see here were from the early 1900's era.   The animals you see here are in the Red building and is open to the public.  Kids and adults can go in and pet the animals.
